We had the honour of creating a candy buffet for the “Canadian Special Events 2011 Star Awards Gala” (say that three times fast!).  The theme was a 1920′s vintage garden party and because of this we decided to incorporate some cupcakes and cookies because what garden party is complete without them??? In terms of decor for this table we choose a green damask background to invoke the vintage garden vibe and then used green, white and brown treats on the table.  The buffet spread was built around an oversized floral tree centrepiece complete with custom vase corset, and mini pails of green light scattered throughout the branches.  Creating this candy buffet was the “cat’s meow”.
