Candy That Makes You Go Hmmm…

Since we are in the business of making candy look even better here at Sweet Tooth Productions, it should come as no surprise that we are constantly on the look out for unique candy to showcase in our buffets.  That said some candies are so bizarre that should someone ever ask us to incorporate them, we’d have a hard time making them look tantalizing.  It took some digging but our  Sweet Tooth staff has finally all agreed on a list of the most interesting and unusual candies that they could find.

The listing below reflects our personal opinions, and seeing as how we haven’t actually tried most of these candies we can’t really comment on the taste (so let’s be clear we aren’t saying that they are gross…).  We just made this listing for fun and we truthfully we commend these makers for daring to be different!

SWEET TOOTH PRODUCTIONS’ TOP 10 WACKY CANDIES LISTING:

#10 – Hot Dog & Bologna Bubble Gum

 

We’ve actually tried this gum (the hot dog one) and it’s surprisingly not bad, but since it made all of our lists prior to chewing, we had no choice but to include it.

 

#9 – Meatball Bubble Gum

 

Sure meatballs taste great in a good marinara sauce, but to chew on them like this, it doesn’t look too appetizing to us.

 

#8 – Pickle Mints

 

We’re curious – what does a Pickle Mint do for coffee breath?

 

#7 – Bacon Gumballs

 

This is the perfect companion for Egg Gummies.

 

#6 – Gummy Flesh Fries

 

Should we turn into zombies at any point we’ll be sure to stock up on these “bad boys” for our sugar fix!

 

#5 – Box of Booger

 

We are convinced that a man who was notorious for picking his nose in elementary school came up with the idea for this “treat”.  Take a look at him now name callers!

 

#4 – Candy Blood Bags

 

For the vampire wanna be in all of us! This candy is perfect for product placement on the HBO series True Blood.

 

#3 – Sour Flush Toilet Plunger Candy

 

Seriously, a toilet that has to be plunged is just plain gross so this little gem is clearly one for kids.  Oh to be young again and not know what it feels like to have to plunge a clogged toilet…

 

#2 Camel Balls

 

This candy belongs on Fear Factor – which apparently has been picked up again and should be airing on TV soon!

 

#1 Chocka Ca-Ca

 

We can confidently say that if anyone ever asked us to include these little chocolate chunks (wrapped in mini baby diapers to boot) into one of our buffets we’d have to respectfully decline.  To us chocolate is sacred and the idea of this is just too different for our tastes!!!
